Best and well-made mallet I've ever used June 2, 2014
Reviewer: Eric from Leavenworth, WA United States
This thing is really a great hammer, I had my reservations about it being a bolt together mallet at first, but this thing is very sturdy. I use the hard side more than the soft as I am swinging it against a froe, but it seems to be holding up to the abuse. I will write another review if it seems to not be sturdy enough in the long run to bang against a thin piece of metal, but thus far it's holding up great. You just have to be manly enough to wield this thing is the only con. I'm sure most people use it for getting dents out of cars, and only momentary swinging, but it does work very well for extended use too.

Also, the medium soft side of the mallet is still quite hard, but it seemed like prolonged use of it against my froe may after a long period of time, cause it to sever the head, so I am just reserving that for other tasks.

A+ hammer/mallet!
