    This item is okay and functional. It would be a whole lot better if the legs or top locked into a rabbet which would not be a big deal to do. Also aluminum oxidizes and actually turns your hands black when it oxidizes. Anodizing this would make it look a whole lot better and sget rid of the blotchy look and stop the oxidization. Plain aluminum has a problems if you are in a salty, humid environment near the ocean like I am. Anodization can wear off but this holder is only going to get light use so that would not be a problem.

    This is a nice stand, good size and nice looks. My only complaint is that the holes for the bolts should be counter bored so that the top of the bolt head sits flush with the top of the stand. This is an easy modification to make if you have access to a mill (or a drill press possibly) and 4mm counter bore bit.

    The stand is easy to assemble using the four supplied screws and the supplied allen wrench. I didn't weigh it, but it has a nice heft and feels very solid. You won't knock it over by accident. I have a growing collection of Wiha precision screwdrivers and the stand is perfect to hold them on my bench top. I can't overstate the value of keeping them sorted and close to my hands while I'm working on small things. There is a smaller version, but I like this larger version. I use some of the extra holes to keep a few other tools in easy reach, like my large tweezers to retrieving tiny screws.
