KC Tool magnet add on for our popular line of aluminum bench top stands. This will fit both our 50 and 25 hole stands (sold separately).

Kit includes:
Qty 2 - Exact fit rare-earth magnets
Qty 4 - Extended length hex screws
Qty 1 - Wiha 3.0 mm hex L key


This kit fits a custom sized rare-earth magnet in-between the stands top and legs. This gives you the option to keep additional tools with your precision drivers, that may not fit in the existing holes. Simply attach any metal object or tool to either side of the bench top stand, and enjoy the added feature of magnetic storage!

    Great product. Very fragile.

    This is a great addition to the precision tool holder. But beware! These magnets are strong. So only disassemble one at a time. Otherwise you’ll have 4 magnets and not two in an odd galactic happenstance of the magnets self replicating by smashing into each other. Not at all KC tools fault. Not at all.

    Provides a really convenient way to store items that may not fit in the stand. I have scissors, files etc. stuck on mine, a brilliant add on!

    These magnets are supper strong. Would be nice if it came with more info . Instead of just coming in A bag. They do come in plastic tubing.

    I would go as far as saying this is a must-have if you are OCD like me about your bench/desk workspace. I use the magnetic ends, right now to keep some Xcelite needle nose pliers handy for when I need them but you could use them for any number of things. If you have more than 25 or 50 screwdrivers you could line the magnets up correctly and attach a 50 to a 25 or as many as you need!

    I rate things 4 if there are no issues/complaints (or very, very minor things). 5 is reserved for perfection. Most things don't qualify as 5 to me. That said, what can I say? They're magnets, they fit the stand very well. The measurement between the holes (center to center) is slightly smaller than the distance of the holes in the stand itself, but everything fits together wonderfully and the magnets don't stick out at all on any edge so that is a win. I'm glad they also included the longer bolts. I may try to modify my stand and counterbore the top plate so that the bolts don't stick up above the plate in which case I should be able to use the shorter bolts that came with the stand itself. Will probably paint it in a matte finish as well.
