    Great set of wrenches

    This is an awesome wrench set utilizing a side button for reversing. I’ve seen some commenters speculate that having the switch on the side will cause the wrench to reverse on itself in tight quarters. This is not that easy to do. First off, the switch is angled to avoid contact with areas around the work piece. Second, it has some resistance which will help guard against it switching direction with a light tap. In practice, this is pretty much a non issue, and it actually makes reversing the wrench very easy whereas sometimes it is difficult to reach the switch when it’s on the wrench face, and that switch can get knocked as well. Lastly, I know it says these are made in Taiwan, but I’d be willing to bet the wrench body is made by Stahlwille, probably in Germany. First off, the finish is unique to Stahlwille. Second, it is similar in heft to their German made wrenches. The assembly is also top notch. The mechanism is perfect. Taiwan does make most of the higher end ratcheting wrenches on the market with a few exceptions. Bottom line, at its current seasonal price, this set is an absolute steal. The wrench roll is also high quality, held closed with Velcro, not string, and makes this a perfect grab and go for mobile repairs and junk yard trips, as well as any occupation that benefits from ratcheting wrenches in a mobile environment.

    Stahlwille quality with a SMOOTH mechanism. Still light weight for ratcheting wrenches but super durable.
