The build and quality of the socket holders is really high, and this design is neat.
I ended up making my own (something like this), to fit the sockets and tools I wanted together- but this is a fine socket organizer.

This is perfect for storing sockets that are not in a kit. Like adding SAE sockets to a metric kit.

You want this

This is one of those "where has this been all my life" things. Works great, rotate the socket, the belt unlocks it and it comes off. Re-insert and rotate again, it's solidly attached to the belt. I have one of these for each socket set. So much better than the awful rails that come with socket sets. Quieter, easier to handle, much easier to add and remove sockets. I know it costs a bit but you will be glad for the rest of your life you have it and won't remember the few bucks extra it cost.

The twist lock holders are great. I don't know why KC tool doesn't carry the C 0/6 belt for 1/2 sockets.
