    broke in two weeks

Posted by Joseff Tabisaura on Sep 29th 2020

I searched impact rated, diamond coated tips and this came up. It was incredible for a week, pretty good for another week (I noticed some camping out) and then broke on Monday of week 3. waste of money. Im using these in a Milwaukee m18 1/4" impact drill. These last about the same as non-impact rated bits and that is not nearly good enough. I would say that in those two weeks I drove maybe 70-100 screws. I get MULTIPLE hundreds 500+ out of my Milwaukee impact tips. So dissapointing, bummed that these broke!!

    Best screwdriver bits ever!

Posted by Matthew Davis on Feb 10th 2019

Excellent, as an aircraft mechanic I used to have to use EZ grip or something similar to increase grip for stuck screws. However with the diamond grit added I don't have to worry about it anymore. I used to use Snap on ACR bits but these are far superior at a better price. As a bonus the gold color and red sizing band make them easier to find in the event of a lost tool (FOD prevention). Overall I can't recommend highly enough. I May well swap all of my screwdriver bits for these.

    Okay

I can't tell the difference between these Wera bits and the straight BiTorsion without the diamond coating. In fact the only way I knew these were BiTorsion Diamond Coated was the BDC stamped on the base. The diamond coating isn't nearly and pronounced as in the photos. I own a very large number of Wera tools and this is the first time I've felt like maybe one of their products was a little over-hyped. Don't get me wrong, the bits still work great but after trying them side by side with uncoated Wera BiTorsion bits I can't tell any difference in performance. I think this is the first time I've ever rated a Wera tool less than 5 stars. I'm giving them 4 because they work great but no better than my other, less expensive, Wera bits.

Perfect add-on to the Wera Kraftform Kompakt 27

Posted by Keith on Feb 1st 2016

The bits that come with the Wera Kompakt 27 are pretty good, but these are far better. More grip and no distortion of the bit or screw head. Combining this bit and others of the same series with that driver, I have a no-compromise multi-bit driver for my tool bag.
