    Update to "major flaw" review

Posted by Corey on Nov 22nd 2017

Update: I ordered a second bit, and it fit perfectly. After more time using the screwdriver, I'm now convinced this stubby is the best!

    Very nice, but major flaw

Posted by Corey on Nov 4th 2017

I do like this stubby a lot. The size, feel, and bit lengths are great. But I can't rate it higher because, at least the bit and handle I received, fit so tightly that I couldn't get it out. I had to use vice-grips to remove it. After repeated insertion and removal, I could eventually remove it with a very strong grip. But then days later, after the suction took hold, it again required pliers. That defeats its purpose, and they're too expensive to buy several.

    Soft grip, compact and versatile

Posted by Stuart Tucker on May 27th 2017

This was a great addition to round out my SlimLine set. The pouch has a second handle strap so this was an ideal fit. The stubby handle uses the same soft finish as the full size one. The exchangeable blades allow for versatility without carrying a bunch of stubbys around in your toolbag. I couldn't pass this one up when it went on sale.

    Insulated Stubby Grip

Posted by William Brown on Feb 26th 2017

Having already tried the Wera and Felo interchangeable bit insulated drivers, I had to give the Wiha Slimline a chance. I am impressed as always. The bits are high quality and when inserted in the handles, feel the most like a fixed blade driver. The stubby handle works well overall, but could do with a slightly fatter grip. No complaints about the build quality.
