    Quality bit

Posted by Vasili on Nov 18th 2015

This is a good quality and precision machined tip.It is not as pointy as I would like it for iphone repairs.Unscrewing is ok but picking small screws to screw is a bit more difficult than what I'm accustomed to.

    Very precise

Compared to the Wera #000 precision screwdriver, the tip is very small and accurate to what a #000 phillips SHOULD be. I use this as my primary driver for phone screen replacements and other tasks requiring the smallest phillips screwdrivers. I would highly recommend getting a couple of these. If they do end up being worn, they are way cheaper to replace than an entire screwdriver.

    As expected

One thing to keep in mind there is a fair amount of variability between manufacturers when it comes to small Phillips bit sizing. A 000 Phillips in one brand could be a 0 Phillips in another. You really need to keep an assortment to get a proper fit. Many people damage screws and screwdriver by using the incorrect size. These bits are fine. You don't want to strip small screws as they can be a nightmare to remove @ this size.

    no complaints

Quality appears good (more precise than 1/4" hex Wiha bits) and no problems so far. They are even labeled, which is nice. - - I have heard they aren't as pointy as other small Phillips bits, but it seems like switching to a smaller size would solve that problem.

    Expected a bit more precision

I bought this bit hoping to replace another #000 philips bit I had chipped. The size is correct but the tip doesn't come to a sharp point. It's slightly flat at the end which affects the ability to grip onto a screw head. I couldn't take out half the screws I used to with my original #000 philips bit.
