Why doesn’t everybody contain tools in metal boxes like this anymore. I love this bit set. I love that it includes all the right types of bits for me. It’s hard to find a German bit set with metric and fractional hex sizes with torx square and Phillips. I love that the ratchet holds the bit with a magnet instead of a retaining ring. I need all the help holding fasteners that I can get. Also the switch on the ratchet is super easy to manipulate unlike most bit ratchets with the tiny tiny lever they have.

This is a beautiful little set. The case is metal and nicely made. This is less a set and more a collection of items in a case though. The bits are compactly held in strips of 9 and 6, so there are for strips to pull out. Between them is a piece of foam that the bit ratchet and bit holder sit on. Everything comes out an loosely floats in the case.
The ratchet is really nice, feels smooth, and has a nice weight. The bit holder has a collar retainer (while also being magnetic) which means when you eject the bit it is still retained, AND allows for one handed insertion. I will look into getting more of these in other sizes! Bits seem well machined, although the markings on the hex shaft are sure to come off with use. Also note the hex profile of the bit is about half the length of standard, so comparability might be an issue in some cases, although this does not impart the extra slop one might expect with a shorter engagement.
I am really impressed, but withhold judgement on the longevity and strength of the bits for now.

Works like a charm used it the same day I received it, used it on a tv mount. Would recommend this to anyone in the trades looking for a quality bit driver. Only draw back it how short the ratchet is. It can be a little hard to handle with large or gloved hands (maybe it’s for little European people I don’t know) but another 1/2 to 1 inch would make it a lot easier to handle.
