Designed to reduce the fastening time and cost per screw connection

The spinning cap and the thin profile areas allow for very rapid twisting, and you won't have to readjust your grip.

Hand support on convex/concave cap offers both an easy turning action and comfortable hand rest

    Wera Kraftform Micro Hex

Posted by Chris VanKauwenberg on May 10th 2018

See my previous review of the Torx drivers regarding the plastic moulded handles. The quality does not match the price. The handles feel like any other cheap driver with sharp moulding imperfections. I gave them 4 stars as I'm assuming that the tool steel is of a good quality and will last. Although, only time will tell.

    Great quality, ergonomics

Posted by Simon Brooks on Feb 15th 2018

Like all were drivers, these are high quality, with great ergonomics and finish. Will continue to slowly replace my equipment over time with these. KCTool is also great to order from with fast efficient delivery. You can't go wrong.

    Great!

Posted by Dan on Aug 31st 2017

I was looking for a really small set of precision hex drivers. These fit the bill perfectly. Small and precise. The tip design is nothing like I've see before. They almost look like a torx head the way they are machined.

    Good quality precision micro hex

Posted by Rod S on Apr 23rd 2017

Bought these for vintage radio use - I have (European & Soviet sets tend to use metric sizes). Excellent quality hard tips which fit snugly & drive well and, after using them for a few days, I much prefer the handles on these to the other brands (which I have in other sizes/styles). I’m not a big fan of micro-tools with thin handles and spinny caps in general, but the Wera handles are thicker & more usably shaped than most others. Personal preference I guess - but I still wish someone would make small nut/hex drivers with near full-sized handles!

    If buying for RC, reconsider

Posted by Casey on Dec 12th 2016

While these are nice screwdrivers, they are not "as good" as I hoped. I bought them specifically for use on RC cars, planes and helicopters. While the tips are presciently machined, the handle is disappointing. It's hard plastic and the green grip section offers very little extra friction. It's almost impossible to get any real torque on these things. For smaller fasteners, this is adequate, but the 2.0mm and above are almost useless. To make matters worse, there is no hanging hole so you can't stick something through there for extra torque. Than handles on the Wiha Picofinish are way better, but their hex tips are apparently not very good. In summary, these screwdrivers have excellent blades but unimpressive handles. If you're primarily needing the larger sizes, consider a different kit.

Best Precision Hex drivers I've used

Posted by Matt Cooper on Apr 14th 2016

I have been searching for some good micro hex drivers for wrenching on my RC cars. All the ones I owned never fit quite right, always seemed just a hair to small. Both metric and SAE sizes. I bought the Wiha set first since I love their screwdrivers, but the 1.5mm and 2.0mm still ended up rounding out the hexes after a few. - - I tried Wera Hex plus that looked just like what I thought I needed. They can be a little snug to fit sometimes, but I'll take that over drilling out the hex that I stripped out with the other drivers. Now I want to upgrade all my drivers to Wera.

Quality is worth a little more money.

Posted by Unknown on Aug 27th 2015

I've learned this lesson well, especially when it comes to tools. Quality tools last and they make the work you do a pleasure instead of a pain. I've used Wera tools at work for a while now and have not been disappointed. I like everything about them. Great tools, period.
